Just when we thought we were all sorted, a change of venue was imposed upon us in 2003 by a total lack of organisation skills. So for our third show, Robin Hood (written by Kate and Susannah, with material from Robbie once again), the Mighty Fin descended en masse upon Oxford House in Bethnal Green. The upside? A proper bar that sold actual drinks and not cheapo mass-bought wine from the local offie. The downside? The bar was run by only two people, the manager having vastly under-estimated the number of drinks that the Mighty Fin’s 200-strong audience likes to get through over a two hour period. 2003 also saw an upgrade to a four night run, and Benet and Johnnie continued to give us the benefit of their considerable skill, with the addition of new musical director, Desmond O’Connor.
